Hinry is a singer-songwriter from Hong Kong who gave up his career as a surveyor at the age of 20 to pursue music. He taught himself music from scratch and aims to inspire people with his own adventure, proving that it's never too late to chase your dreams. Hinry is dedicated to promoting Hong Kong music worldwide. His band "Call Back ASAP" has been invited to perform as a guest at the Munich Music Festival in Germany.
Hinry's music has gained attention in various parts of Asia such as Taiwan, Malaysia, as well as among non-Chinese audiences in South America, including Brazil and Argentina. He has also collaborated with artists from different countries in Europe, such as the UK, to break the Hong Kong music bubble and bring out more Hong Kong cultural elements.
His famous works include the songs "Monsters" and "One Piece" from his first album "Small Potato in the Town," which explore the struggles of young people facing the world's frustrations. In addition, his works have been selected as theme songs for Taiwanese idol dramas.
In recent years, Hinry has also been striving to pursue his dream of becoming a film director. He has been invited to direct and produce short films and music videos in London, UK, and has also participated as an actor in Netflix productions, hoping to bring more Hong Kong ideas and elements to the international stage.
"Quantum Traveller" is a poignant exploration of a brilliant physicist's journey through time and the unexpected twist of early-onset dementia. This film delves into the emotional complexities of identity, memory loss, and the sacrifices of caregiving. Through a captivating blend of sci-fi and heartfelt drama, we aim to engage audiences in a reflection on the enduring power of familial bonds amidst the challenges of time and cognitive decline.
