Director Statement

For "The Puppetmaster," we wanted to make a film that told a full, satisfying story within a short runtime. Shooting on 16mm film gave us the perfect avenue to condense our idea, as we only had 5 minutes of footage to work with. We scaled back on actors, scenes and shots, and we still believe the film packs a punch. We hope you enjoy it!
