Susan F. Urell has roots in dentistry that go back three generations! Her dental career began when she was 16 years old, working in her father's dental office in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating in 1985 with a degree in Dental Hygiene Technology, Susan has become an expert in the field of dental health education, with decades of experience teaching oral hygiene skills to adults and children.

Director Statement

Hello I'm Suzi. After overhearing a mother scold her child and threaten to take her to the dentist as punishment, I began writing the MolarTron comic series to help kids learn how to have good dental health. I enjoy empowering kids with knowledge of how to be healthy and why making good choices is important, especially when it comes to sugar!
