Mahyar Yavar began his cinematic career in 2007 as an editing assistant in Iranian television. After two years of gaining experience, he started working independently. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to gain experience in various television programs, industrial films, and advertisements. However, he has always had a serious interest in philosophy and thoughtful cinema.

In the past four years, after attending a sound design masterclass led by Master Mohammad Reza Delpak—who has worked on films by Abbas Kiarostami, Asghar Farhadi, and Majid Majidi—Mahyar became enamored with the world of sound design. Following the completion of sound design and film mixing courses, he has worked on the sound design and sound mixing for several documentaries and animated films.

His passion for filmmaking is undeniable, and he strives to express himself through the art of film. However, writing and directing remain his eternal dream. Now, equipped with technical experiences, academic studies, and a mindful life shared with his lovely wife and two children, he believes it is the best time to pursue this aspiration.
