The Pod People

After a night of drinking, a young man wakes up with a headache, a hangover, and rapidly spreading infection taking over his body.

Inspired by body horror classics like Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the Fly, The Pod People is an examination modern take on the idea ideas brought up with the subgenre, while still maintaining the b-horror sensibilities and aesthetics of the film that came before it.

The Pod People tells the story of a withdrawn alcoholic man who's life is being taken over by a literal parasite-- cut off from his friends and spiraling, even those closest to him are unable to tell the difference once the host takes control of his former life. The only thing worse than being body snatched, is being body snatched and no one being able to tell the difference
