Director Statement

“’The Path I’ve Chosen’ is a film near and dear to my heart. The idea came about during a pivotal moment in my life. After high school, I decided to leave Massachusetts to study film and music at Ireland’s Trinity College Dublin. My time in Dublin was one of the most exciting and enriching periods of my life. I came to realize, however, that the film studies course there was not for me, I sought more practical application in my degree. So, I made the decision to transfer to a film school in the US. This film was written during my last days in Dublin, with that experience in mind. I had to choose between my life in Ireland and a more linear path to a successful career. While I may never know if I chose the ‘right’ path, the fictitious story of Veronica is one of choosing life over plans or plans over life.”
