The Path I Follow

The Path I Follow is a foray into a few days in the life of a young man living in a California Hispanic ghetto. The main character, Rodrigue, who evolves in this uncertain universe, where danger and crime are omnipresent, embodies the emotional turmoil and contradictions of a precarious youth. Confronted with drugs, delinquency and prostitution, Rodrigue is a mixture of anger, rebellion, but also intelligence and pride. He symbolizes the idea of a youth, certainly revolted, but filled with the spirit of independence, who persists in surviving within the most disadvantaged environments of our society. Through a linear approach of his personality, evolving from his darkest aspects to the expression of his deepest values, he imposes himself as an axis of stability within a chaotic universe and represents the inner struggle of young people who fight for their ideals.
