deadCenter Film Festival is excited to announce a partnership with professional basketball player Pat Patterson to host The Pat Presents Oklahoma Student Film Contest. Kicking off on December 1, the short-film contest is open to all students currently enrolled in an Oklahoman high school, tech center, college, or university.

Through the Pat Presents Oklahoma Student Film Contest, students will have the chance to win new camera equipment, signed Pat Patterson memorabilia and passes to deadCenter Film Festival. One grand prize winner will also have the opportunity to have their film screened at the deadCenter Film Festival in June. The initial round of judging will be performed by the deadCenter team with Patterson and a few of his celebrity friends selecting finalists and winners.

Eligible Oklahoman students will be able to submit their films at www.deadcenterfilm.org/PatPresents until January 15. Finalists will be announced on February 1, 2019 with screenings of select films taking place on Sunday, February 24 at Harkins Bricktown Cinemas. All submissions are required to be 20 minutes or less and must have been produced after January 1, 2017. Eligible films must be made by Oklahoma Students enrolled in an Oklahoman high school, tech center, college, or university when the film was made. Films must have been produced after January 1, 2017.
