Director Statement

As an independent filmmaker driven by an unwavering passion for storytelling. Crafting captivating films is not just a profession for me; it's a profound calling. My focus lies in creating relatable characters and narratives that deeply resonate with audiences.
One of the central ideas of The Past explores the various forms of loss that may encounter throughout our lives. When memories hold such vivid presence in the present, how does one separate the past from the present? Can the past be relegated to mere history as time goes by?
Through this story, I aim to share a glimpse of these emotions and invite audiences to contemplate their own experiences.
