In 2100, due to an overcrowded earth, the UN mandates citizens 50 and older to be entered into a lottery in which those who win must commit suicide. Eva must endure this experience when her wife wins this lottery.

Director Biography - Olivia Brown

Starting out as a nerdy microbiologist, Olivia fell in love with contemporary science fiction. Creating the stories that swirl on the screens in her head, she realized that she can bring black stories and science fiction together. Using her experiences as a black woman who grew up in America, she incorporates us vs them, racism, classism, and environmental issues into each one of her films.

In 2020, she made her first short film, The Colors of Me. Which won Best in show in the Huntington Beach Film Festival and was a finalist in the LiftOff London Film Festival.

Her animated short script, Dreams Inc, is a Quarter Finalist for the Coverfly shorts competition.

Listen, one of her short films made in 2022 was another quarter finalist in the 2021 horror and sci-fi short script competition.
