Mom, You Got This!

Logline

A widow seeks to sell her family home and embrace a new life in a mobile home, but first, she needs to heal the ongoing rift between her adult son and her dead husband's ghost.

Synopsis

Rose, a widow, arrives to check out a monstrous recreational vehicle she’s been eyeing for a while. Along for the ride is her gay adult son, Alex, who still lives with her at home and the ghost of her husband.

When Rose commits to selling their old family home, Alex feels pushed out; he questions the haste of her decision making and ultimately, his mom’s mental health. Rose confesses this has always been her dream as well as her husband’s, and this is how she wants to live now even if Alex disapproves of it. As the deadline to move approaches, Rose and her son must come to terms with what it means to be free of the past.
