Olatunji Jones has been making films for some time now. He owns a media and production company called Tunji Jones Media House in Ibadan, Nigeria. His company creates Feature films, Music videos, Commercials, Corporate videos and Documentaries
He started as a Camera Assistant, and from studying Filmmaking and work experience worked his way up to becoming a Cinematographer, and now he is a film Director, Editor, Producer and a Screenwriter.
He is the writer and Director of "Waiting For The Hangman", Director of a festival award winning South African short film “Text Message”, Executive Producer of a South African talk show “Chilllin with Blackqueen” and a Line Producer for a South African film “Shuga Blessa”.
He has collaborated with a South African production company called Sanama Creations.
One of his previous films is titled "IRETI"(hope), this movie campaigned against stigmatization of people living with HIV/AIDS.
He always loves to shoot films that corrects anomalies in the society.
I work in the film industry because I want to motivate, inspire and emotionally move people through his films. I live my filmmaker's life through two philosophies - visual storytelling through images and storytelling through words of others.
