Ali Tahmasebi is a writer, director, producer, photographer, and digital artist. He was born in Tehran, Iran and moved to Canada at the age of 13. He fell in love with films when he watched 2001: A Space Odyssey and ever since, he has been forging his path to tell stories and be involved in the forefront of creativity, technology, and innovation in the film industry. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Victoria with distinction, he began to work at Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) as a Technical Assistant. He received his first credit at ILM for his work on Marvel's TV show, "Echo". Having written and directed his first film "The Painted Dream" in 2023, he is excited to bring many more stories to the screen and excite the audiences globally.

This film is yet to be screened anywhere in Canada or internationally. Having completed the film recently, we are very excited to share it with audiences!
