Director Biography - Kevin Watley

Kevin Watley was born in a small southern Georgia town. As a child, instead of sleeping through the night, he would crawl army style into his mother's room. From under her bed he gained his early film education on steady diet of classic movies. For as long as he can remember, he was gifted with the ability to draw. He calls it "the first power" because that's where his passion to create began. Pencil and paper led to pen and paint pastels. And pastels led to pictures and motion graphics, which led to 3D graphics and visual effects. Unknowingly, all of these steps were the building blocks of the future film director, Kevin Watley went on to study digital media, film, and music, at Full Sail University near Orlando, FL. After 3 years as a VR and Realtime 3D lab instructor Watley moved to Los Angeles and began working in 3D graphics and visual effects. After working on numerous commercials and music videos he teamed with writer Justin Straight and producer Antuan Scott to direct The PEH .
