The Other Truth

Tucked away in a corner seat of a train, a visibly distressed woman glances at the other passengers, all of whom seem to have their inquisitive eyes fixed on her. The train drops her off at a small, deserted station.
Once out, she ventures into a nearby forest. Her lonely walk through the tangled vegetation is suddenly interrupted by the sound of someone walking toward her. And yet, there is nobody around. A gunshot hits the tree immediately behind her. She runs for her life, chased by what she believes to be a group of hunters.
She ends up at the entrance of a huge dark building that is nothing more than an abandoned empty shell, with hollow windows and boarded-up doors. She frantically bangs at the door until another woman lets her in.
The two women create a bond over their common phobias and hopes, wondering about what will happen to them inside and outside those protective walls. When a letter announces the imminent arrival of a familiar face, they prepare for a long-awaited reunion, unaware that his appearance will deliver a frightening yet inevitable verdict.
