Director Statement

There are certain experiences, pains, and losses that we carry with us throughout life, and as time goes on, their weight grows heavier, making it harder to move forward. Some of these memories need to be shed, but they often refuse to leave, clinging to us and becoming a permanent part of who we are. The only way to lighten the load is by taking those heavy memories and transforming them into something beautiful. This is perhaps how art helps to heal—by turning broken reminiscences and losses into something meaningful. When we create beauty from what is broken, we can carry those memories more easily. For me, this film has been such an exercise— an attempt to build something beautiful from the fragments of my past.
