Jacob came off to everybody as a responsible ,loving and family oriented married man who could do anything for his family. Being married to roseline , a beautiful woman who gave him a beautiful daughter, one would think that Jacob was fulfilled and happy. Jacob wanted a son, but roseline not being able to give him one , leads him to taking advice from his friend and colleague to have a quick affair with a younger woman to give him a son. An affair that ends up putting everyone, on the other side of life.
