Following her recent win of the global contest “Song of the Summer”, Sharon Watkins is back with her 3rd single and music video “The One That Got Away”. Already achieving global coverage across international press, radio & playlirting (BBC, Music News) “The One That Got Away” is a gorgeous, wintery, piano pop ballad with a defiant message to every ex you’re glad you left. Featured on BBC radio and premiered in Music News, this is a collaboration with producer Sam Miller (Razorlight & One Direction), Stewart Arnold (choreographer to Kate Bush) and Florivaldo Mossi (Michael Jackson in West End Show “Thriller”), "The One That Got Away" and is a mind blowing music video. It expresses the voyeuristic nature of reflecting on a past, caustic relationship & the turmoil we’ve released ourself from. It features the main protagonist sat in a theatre, watching a contemporary dance, re-enacting the turmoil of the relationship and struggle to release themselves from it, both physically and mentally. Cleverly breaking the 3rd wall, when the female dancer finally escapes the relationship, diving from the stage towards the audience, only to find herself flailing in water with the emotional & mental challenge of moving on. As the protagonist leaves the theatre, we see her finally mentally freeing herself from the turmoil, dealing with the loss & moving on to sweet recovery.
