Director Statement

Honestly, I was afraid to make this film. Introducing a fictional world and telling a gripping story in just 14 minutes felt daunting, but once the script was ready, it was go time. The lush, overgrown post-apocalyptic world was a passion in this script, but the real draw was its themes. Everyone knows the question: What would you do for love? It’s usually framed positively, but I wanted to ask—can love go too far? Can it drive you to something so terrible that the person you love ultimately rejects you?
Bringing this story to life wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible team behind it. We had a talented crew in Portland, Oregon, and collaborated with artists from the United Kingdom, Poland, Australia, and Germany. Their dedication and artistry made this film what it is, and I’m deeply grateful for their contributions.
Thank you for taking the time to watch our film. I hope it resonates with you in some way, and I appreciate your support. Enjoy!
