The Occupancy

A funeral home in a quaint old town is where we find June, a young woman paving her way into the business of taking care of the deceased and those who lost them. Fiona, a longstanding staple of the community and a close family friend dies. June prepares the body for her dearest friend Blaire (Fiona’s granddaughter); but other people have plans for the body. June becomes a puppet to the powers-- or magic at play. Catching Zachariah, her boss, stealing the body she follows him into the woods where he sells it for cash. To her disbelief, inside the cabin in the woods is the Groves family: Mavis, Blaire and the youngest - Christine. When June is caught Mavis sees the opportunity to use June as a sacrifice rather than her own daughter. And Fiona is reborn.
