Alyssa has been making videos since she first picked up a camera at the age of 13. She graduated with a degree in film production and has had a career in film production ever since. In 2016 she and her husband Ryan Peterson started their own film production company, Paper Crane Cinema Co., where they both still work full time creating custom films. Alyssa and her brother Doug have grown up making each other laugh hysterically, speaking in ridiculous accents, and doing improv comedy bits within everyday conversation. They created comedy videos as a hobby until 2015 when they teamed up with Ryan to make their first "serious" comedy series, "Danny's Choice," which screened in Chicago and at the New York Television Festival that fall. As the production of Danny's Choice neared completion, they began dreaming of a world that was very blue, very isolated, and very unnerving in its complex simplicity. Thus, "The Noots," their latest dark comedy, was born.
