The:Night:Watcher

Beware the watcher in the night...

Set in the CCTV desk of a disused and dilapidated warehouse facility, a security guard scans the feeds with diligence and Schadenfreude, unaware that something is out there with it's eyes firmly set on her.

Director Statement

The script was originally written as a micro-short made for a Minute Film competition back in 2020.

Unable to film due to global circumstances and a lack of time and resources, I adapted and expanded the concept into a new setting, with new characters to create "The:Night:Watcher".

It sat on a proverbial shelf as most of my scripts do, until late 2023 when I asked Jake, my producer, if he'd be up for making a horror film together.

Thankfully he was very enthusiastic at the idea of collaborating again and we selected "The:Night:Watcher to film and bring to life.
