The Night Shift
B.E.D. Productions presents The Night Shift, a short film created by Emmanuel J. Davis, which explores the underground street life of 1974 through the journey of a 20$ bill. Whether exchanged for guilty pleasures or out of necessity, the money exchanges hands with many different characters over the course of one night. The $20 bill’s journey represents the politically turbulant climate of the time such the impeachment of President Nixon, civil rights, gay rights, prostitution, drugs, and the economic liberty of women leading the discussions. Ironically, these past issues parallel current events.
