The New Horizon

Hamza arrived in Surabaya, Indonesia, almost nine years ago. He had been forced to flee Afghanistan due to the war.

Recently, Hamza received the good news that he will soon resettle in a third country, Canada. Hamza is excited but also anxious about starting a new life in a new part of the world. He shared his concerns with a colleague. As they talked, his colleague reminded him to look back and remember what made him happy and able to live as a refugee in Indonesia. Hamza knows that teaching wrestling has always been his passion.

With the help of IOM, Hamza says goodbye to his wrestling community and recreates a memory of wrestling together. Hamza keeps his last memory of his wrestling community in his heart and encourages himself to be brave to face a new life in a third country.
