The New England Cell Phone Film Festival

The New England Cell Phone Film Festival, presented by That Child Got Talent Entertainment, has been created to showcase, nurture, and support the emerging creative filmmakers aged 16 - 26 that use the latest technology available from a mobile device (Smartphone only) to create stories in a cinematic way.

All finalists will be showcased in a Virtual experience on YouTube Live!
The festival will consist of 3 categories: Feature, Short and Rapid Fire. The caveat being that filmmakers must stay within the genres of Narrative, Documentary, Experimental and Music Video. We expect you to make a film that falls into one of the three categories with one of the four genres that are meant to challenges you as a filmmaker.

Create a Feature of 15-30 minutes.
Create a Short of 7-10 minutes.
Create a Rapid Fire of 2 minutes or less, it can be as short as you like!

For your Narratives, we want to be captivated by your indie dramas, comedies, action, sci-fi and the like, so that we can hear, see and understand your well crafted scripts!

For your Documentaries, we want you to tell us someone else's story! Tug at our heartstrings or pound out our social justice fist! Either way, make us feel what they feel!

For your Music Videos, we want you to perfect the visual journey one will experience to music, with music, by music, as well as, or the visual form of movement of the human form.

The purpose of our film festival is not only to create interest and spark creativity in people with limited income or resources, but to actually inspire creative filmmakers to live to their potential and realize the opportunity to fulfill their dream. You can still make a powerful film with what you have at home!
