The New Classic Cinema Film Festival is dedicated to bringing and discovering the very best short films from the whole world. The films that perfectly combine captivating story, brilliant image and powerful message. As the festival name suggests we are open not only for “the classics”, but also for completely new ideas that may become “the new classics of tomorrow”.
The members of our Jury are film professionals from Seattle, Munich, Haifa, St. Petersburg and Boston. At least three judges evaluate each film and only after that the selection committee makes a final decision whether the film is to be included into the festival program.
The Festival comprises 4 sections: Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn. An official selection films and award winners will be promoted at our site and online media. Live screening of the very best of awarded films takes place twice a year at different locations.
Whether your film is in trend or not, but if it conveys a convincing valuable story – you are welcome to submit it to our festival!
The New Classic Cinema Film Festival runs quarterly, and now we open the Spring festival. The deadline for all submissions is 30 May 2017. An official selection will be published on our site by the 10th of June 2017 and the award winners will be announced in the mid of June.
The Summer section opens in June and closes in August.

We accept films of all genres and styles of LIVE ACTION short films, but the film should not run longer than 40 minutes. At this time we do not accept DVD or Blu-Ray and all submissions should be done via FilmFreeWay. We require that all material included in the film be cleared in terms of copyright.
If your film is in other language than English then, the English subtitles are required. If your film will be listed in the official selection we would ask you to submit the poster of the film, screenshots, trailer and other promotional information we could publish at our site and in the local media.
