The Nerve to Try
What do you do when the love of your life is diagnosed with a debilitating, terminal disease, and you’re not sure if you want to be his caregiver? Thirty-something, single mom, Kim loves her boyfriend Brian; and when he’s diagnosed with ALS, she thinks it’s a no brainer for her to move him in and care for him. However, two years later, his condition worsens, and Kim is faced with the inconvenient truth: Love is not enough and her libido is not satisfied. Frustrated with her sex life as Brian’s disabilty progresses, Kim questions her loyalty to the cause, especially when pursued by a handsome coworker. How much can she sacrifice? How far will she go? Does this make her the worst person in the world? Whose needs are more important?
