The Murder in Boulder Woods
As his miserable summer is coming to an end, Matthew makes one last effort to make it memorable. He calls his best friend Jake to hang out. However, the things they can do are limited because Matthew's parents are asleep in the bedroom next door, so the two decide to visit Boulder Woods. To their surprise, they are reminded why you shouldn't go into the woods at night.

Logan Neuschaefer is a young aspiring filmmaker. He spends his free time making YouTube videos and helping out with sound design in his school's theatre. Logan has always loved being around cameras since he was 7 years old and always will.
When I first conceptualized The Murder in Boulder Woods, my first thoughts were that this would be really cool as long as I followed through with it. Since I had bailed out on projects early in the writing stage before, I did not have high expectations for this one. Something was different about it, however. I like to think of this film as a realistic horror. Realistic in the sense that the protagonists' reactions to the situations they're thrown into aren't from a cheesy slasher film. I also think of The Murder in Boulder Woods as a coming of age. I feel like we've all been in the situation where we will do anything just to feel a rush of excitement and not constant boredom. It honestly feels weird finally finishing a project I've been working on for a year. I hope you enjoy it!
