The Move
Filmmaker and Nomad Pinar finds herself in Banni grassland in Gujarat, observing the daily life of the nomadic people of the Rabari tribe. The Rabaris are a Hindu pastoralist nomadic community scattered across the deserts of western India. Traditionally, few families live next to each other with their cattle and look for new places to move for them to graze.
Pinar spends some time with three families and feels fascinated by their simple life and how they are connected to their land, people and animals. While witnessing their move, she questions what home means to her and whether it is possible to feel/be home while moving around the world.
