The Parkour Film Festival is the largest & longest-running festival of its kind.

Now in its 5th year and after hundreds of submissions from around the world, it is a celebration of the incredible and growing filmmaking talent emerging from parkour culture.

This year we're keeping things simple and running just one category with the goal of making your best long length parkour film focused around the word 'Connection.'
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JUDGES:

The festival features a prolific lineup of judges in the form of Toby Segar, Anan Anwar, Sam White, Keiba Clubb & Giles Campbell Longley.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LEAD SPONSORS:

The Parkour Film Festival is honoured to be supported by the following lead sponsors:

ThinkTank
Joby
Nanlite
Tens
STORROR
Farang Clothing
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE CATEGORY:

In previous years, the parkour film festival has included several categories, spread across a range of specific skills & styles. However, the constant pace of social media has meant many impactful events in sports like parkour are instantly shared & quickly forgotten. Pivotal moments are lost somewhere down an Instagram feed.

This year, we're keeping things simple with one category and one keyword to be used as inspiration.

CONNECTION

We're giving you five months to make the best long length parkour video you've ever made. It could be a documentary, a non-stop action piece, or even entirely filmed on a drone. It just needs to capture a feeling of 'CONNECTION.'

After two years of isolation & minimal travel, we want to allow you the time & freedom to work on something that genuinely adds to your creative legacy.

Time limit: 15-30 minutes

Judging criteria:
Judges will be scoring your film with a strong focus on your filmmaking skills and how well your film embodies the keyword 'Connection'.

Things they will be looking for:
Cinematography
Editing
Storytelling
Colour grading
Sound design

While the skill of the parkourists in the film will not be a factor that will be judged, it will naturally aid the overall impression the film may have on the judges.

Please read the 'rules & terms' section before submitting a film.

  • From our team we have been watching THE MOTUS festivals for years until now, it has been an honor to participate in such a spectacular event. It's great to see how other great teams can support the community so much with something as demanding and attractive as a film festival.
I cannot be more grateful to all the judges and teams for all the effort they have put into supporting us and trying to get the best of our inspiration for everyone.
As it seems, we believe that this will be the last of THE MOTUS festivals, so we can only say thank you for all the support throughout these years.
