Sonoran Science Academy Davis-Monthan Short Film Project Premiere at Davis-Monthan Base Theater
Featured as one of the four student created films. Students created the movie between September 23 to October 3 in their science, history, art, math, and language art classes. No drama or digital arts classes were involved. All footage is student created. Adults provided transportation and time for students to work and general guidance. Pre-production, production, and post-production are all created by 8th grade students whose names are mentioned above.
Sophia Daker is an 8th-grade student at Sonoran Science Academy Davis-Monthan. This is her first directing and production experience.
Sophia is planning to study filming and production in college. She wants to become a playwriter, director and producer in the future, and create her own films.
