Director Biography - Sarkot Nikdel

Sarkot nikdel was born  in kurdistan of iran  (hawraman) in 1996 and now he lives in Marivan city as a english teacher, ha has a BA of English teaching. Sarkot nikdel started profesional filmmaking by his first experience  (Mother smell) in 2015 till now he made 10 short films. he has attented international film festivals all over the world.

Director Statement

Sarkot Nikdel was born in Marivan in 1995. He graduated from Farhangian University in the field of English language teaching.

He started his filmmaking activity in 2010 and produced his first semi-professional short work in 2013 called Boi Madar.

and so far ten documentaries and stories including Mother's Smell, Border and Love, Tragedy Comes, Life Source, Songs of the Era,

He directed Dakhil, Narges the Fifth, "Samurais in Kurdistan" and "The Migration" and participated in domestic and international festivals.

Many internationals have been present

including Iranian festivals;

100 second film festival, participation in the competitive section
