The Meteor's Lament
As it considers its impact on our world, a meteor shares disjointed poetic musings that are both overly confident and increasingly undermined by self-doubt. The meteor encounters various oracular guides (a bubbling mudpot, a lion walker, a 19th century capitalist, a buck, a doe, and a jet liner) who mystify and challenge the inevitability of its journey.
Mixing video, photography, animation and complex soundscapes, The Meteor's Lament is a hypnotic and unsettling exploration of existential uncertainty in a time when truth is increasingly multifaceted and signs become unreliable.
