The Medal
Càtulo Castillo, brilliant boxer and tango writer, meets a clairvoyant who predicts the exact date of his death. The coincidence of this date with the one of a decisive fight, debate Cátulo between the acceptance and the rejection of the omen, while his tangos continue flowing.

Actor, director and writer. He studied cinema specializing in editing at the National School of Cinema from Argentina (ENERC). He made many visual productions integrated with music, like video clips, vj productions and musical animations for children. He is the lead actor of the movies Dumbo 4 (Rocío fernández, 2007) and Novak (Andrés Andreani, 2009) where he also worked in the making of the script. His first short film is "Open Eyes" a fictional short film shot in Tokyo about the suicides on the train stations. He´s last short film “The medal” is a silent and black and white set in Buenos Aires in 1927 and it was made with the support of the National Film Institute of Argentina (INCAA).

This story is inspired by a mythical episode of the life of the tango poet Cátulo Castillo. An omen and a medal make up the plot and the warp of this short film that, through the silent film language, wishes to honor the famous poet and his mysterious destiny.
