The Meaning

The “Meaning of life” explores the ideas of people working in different fields, famous Lithuanian actors and artists. They were asked about the meaning of life. We wanted to get the most natural response, therefore, we only asked the question seconds before turning on the camera. Our intention is to invite the viewer to think about what is the meaning of life.

Director Biography - Tomas Jašinskas

Tomas received his drama and theatre director’s degree in Moscow Vsevolod Meyerhold Center. He directed numerous plays in national theaters across Lithuania and won numerous awards.
All main creators of the film are involved in education - Arūnas is a lecturer and program approver in Vilnius Academy of Arts, scriptwriter Andrius created an interactive live game series for a school children to learn math, Tomas works in multiple schools with multiple projects.
