Director Statement

Praying is a sacred and spiritual activity, and I believe everyone has the right to engage in it.
However, at times, the competition for who is the holiest and most deserving in the eyes of God
arises because of prayer. My concern is depicted in this short film. Through this film, I aim to
spark a discussion not about who is right or wrong but to open up a space for dialogue about
religion and humanity walking hand in hand and how we navigate it.
Have we conducted ourselves with civility all this time? Have we prayed sincerely? Have we
truly connected with God? Then, what does God really want from His followers? Is it a collective,
fervent prayer, or does He desire His followers to pray silently in solitude?
