The Majestic Rhythm of Labuan Bajo

A mythical story from a child of the Manggarai tribe, Indonesia who found an ancient book containing the history of Labuhan Bajo entitled "Gerong & Orah". A mythological story that humans and Komodo dragons are twins born from the marriage of a dragon princess and a human. This video will take us to enjoy the culture, traditions, landscapes, exoticism and diversity that exist in Labuhan Bajo in a harmonious rhythm.

Director Biography - Dwi Ahox Nugroho

Dwi Wahyu Nugroho Ahox is nick name , he care of animals and the environment, Central Kalimantan is the place he was born , then continue study in banyuwangi and communication science at universitas muhammadiyah malang , started a career in audio visual from 2007 as a freelance cameraman and editor in malang city. In 2008 started his career in film and join with lensamata institute and padepokan film, which is engaged in the field of exhibitions , film screenings , short films and documentaries contribution , instructional films , wokshop , production . In East Java , and national , also active in malang film community From 2009 until now , he was active as a director , cameraman and editor. Many of the project that he has done are ranged from national to international scale. Some of the clients are: PMI , UMM , Dcab - Id , Unilever , Nestle , PLN , kompas tv, Yayasan Kelola, PSF and Documentary films are in cooperation with NDR Germany, NGO like a UNESCO, YCI , OXFAM, AusAiD, Local organization, BNPB, and ECHO, aceh documentary, UNDP, SITAS and governmental and private institutions.

This video not only offers the natural beauty of Labuhan Bajo, but also an unforgettable experience of how culture, nature and tradition come together in one harmonious package of beauty. A personal experience of mine that I want to share with many people so that they can remain whole human beings with a true balance in life.
