The Mail Room
When a young mail clerk encounters strange letters for a mysterious recipient, she discovers the sad love story behind the mail.
Magic realism meets melodrama in this short loosely inspired by my personal journey with cancer and medical racism.

Ri Lane
Filmmaker. Documentarian. Artist
Nashville born and raised, Tariah Lane is a Vanderbilt student, documentarian, visionary, and artist. Her love of cinema grew out of trauma and she seeks to use her filmic talents to help others make sense of and overcome their own challenges.
More than that, her work seeks to acknowledge the damage the camera has done to the Black community and then use visual storytelling to correct the distorted image of Black and Brown folk. In an effort to chase her dreams, Tariah has soft launched her independent production company, Vortex 5 Productions. Altogether, in a world in constant conflict, Tariah's weapon of choice is a camera that shoots to thrill.
