Amanda Hunt is a writer, actor, and stand up living and working in New York City. She currently hosts the podcast "Growing Out the Pod". Past credits include writing and performing with various sketch and improv teams at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, She Makes Me Laugh Festival, and writing and starring in the one woman show "Monica Lewinsky Sings Your Heart Out."

Amanda is a writer who endeavors to create comedic characters that reflect a truthful aspect of humanity. She believes that people listen more easily when they are laughing. Amanda's favorite part of writing is the surprises that come between the outline and the final script. Her second favorite part is sitting in a room with other writers, pitching jokes.
