A Screenwriter, Media Editor and aspiring Author, driven by a passion to highlight under-represented diverse female voices from the past and present.
My three part feature 'The Hartfield Trilogy' is a dramatic series set at Hartfield House, spanning one hundred years of history.
It follows the separate lives of three diverse women, each burdened with the responsibilities of their era. Starting in 1899, when Hartfield is a private home, to 1944 when it is requisitioned as a Special Operations Executive Training School, to 1999 as a private educational establishment, Hartfield School.
Part one, The Ward’s Assent was a finalist in the November 2020 SWN Screenplay Competition.
A Silent Scream, a non-dialogue short, focused on two middle-aged mothers, both happily married but closeted bisexuals was a Semi-Finalist in the May 2020 SWN Screenplay Competition. A director is on board with production scheduled for 2021.
The Third Act, a late adulthood coming out short script was a finalist in the August 2020 SWN Screenplay Competition.
I am also working on the pilot episode of 'The Inspector’s Daughter', a TV series with a lesbian protagonist, looking at a young woman’s role in the police force in the early 20th century.
