Central Illinois native who was inspired to write my first screenplay after watching Good Will Hunting and finding the script online. After a few years honing my craft, I finally decided to get serious and make the move to Southern California in 2011 to pursue my dream of becoming a full-time filmmaker. At the end of 2016 and several short films later, I decided, ironically, to return home to Central Illinois to film my first feature, The Little Vagabond, a script I wrote based on personal experience and a poem by William Blake. In 2019, I finished principal photography on my second feature (also in Central Illinois), a holiday comedy entitled, Christmas Crashers. I plan to continue writing, building a community of talented artists and putting out at least one feature film a year through my No Man’s Land Productions company.
There is good in the world. Both inside the church... and out.
