Sandy Fugate has an MFA in playwriting from Western Michigan University. Her plays have had readings, staged readings, and productions in Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and off-off-Broadway. She's also the author of two books and works as an editor. "The Legendary and Quite Dead Helen Keller" is her fourth screenplay.
