From San Francisco, CA "I wasn't always the horror guy, I remember running from the theater when a trailer for Mama came on (I was 15). Something caught me though, around junior year of high school. It might've been the Exorcist, or The Conjuring but after that I couldn't get enough of horror movie. At school I'm called the horror guy, but I strive to tell fun and engaging stories as well as push my own limits as a filmmaker at my schools young film program. "
The Last Resort came to me while watching the Delaware river from a park. Making Media 3, our schools highest level production class, had tasked me to think of a creative log line for my production. We were reading Blake Snyder's Save the Cat and one note in the book stuck with me: irony, log lines need irony. The Last Resort was born, A couple not only dealing with zombies but also a demon. The Last Resort quickly grew into the most ambitious project I had ever thought of. Tons of planning went in to schedule shooting days as well as obtaining the materials for sets. I luckily lived with an amazing make up artist who helped with the incredible zombie effects. My team was unbelievably dedicated in creating this film, I looked to create a world with The Last Resort and we did. I couldn't have done it without them.
