The Last Flickers of a Long Lost Time

Charles, the owner of a bankrupt, historical movie theatre struggles with his fear of change as he is forced to choose between letting his beloved theatre close for good, or throwing aside his principles and selling it to a larger corporation to keep it open. In the theatre’s final hours, Charles finds himself in a conversation with the theatre's janitor, a young man named Alex who, though in the same situation as Charles, comes at the problem from a completely different angle, leading Charles to face the fact that his actions have not only made the theatre he loves a hollow shell of its former self, but have made him hollow himself in the process.
