The Last Customer

I am Shukrullah Esmat a professional filmmaker and journalist. I was born in 1994 in Qarabagh district, Ghazni province. My father was a teacher in one of the schools (Maulana Jami High School) in Qarabagh district, and I attended the same school until the tenth grade. Due to the lack of good academic quality, my father sent me to Kabul to study the 11th and 12th grades in Kabul. Therefore, I finished the 11th and 12th grades in Kabul, in the Sayedul-Shuhada high school, the school that recently witnessed the bloodiest terrorist explosion in which more than 100 girls were martyred.
After passing the University entrance exam, I was accepted into Fine Arts Faculty, Kabul University. in 2017, I received a bachelor's degree from the Department of Cinema (Film Making) with the highest score.
It is seven years that I have been working in cinema industry. During these years I made more than 7 short films. All of these films have been selected, screened, and won awards at festivals inside and outside Afghanistan. and also I am member of Film Agents, in more than 30 films. All of these 30 films have been screened at domestic and international festivals, and some of them have won awards.
