By using the contrast between cigarettes and birthday candles, the work conveys that the more you smoke, the fewer birthday parties you will have left.

Dahyon (Diane) is a new media artist from South Korea and a graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2022. She makes interactive content through a blend of art and technology.
Her inspiration is manifested through pure experiment and blurring the boundaries between a wide range of multimedia encompassing live action, VR/AR, and audio-visual performances, often in conjunction with physical objects and installation.
She loves to connect with the world through her works mostly conveying the idea of public health and environmental conservation.
