The Last Balkan Cowboy
Born in 1944 in Tetovo, North Macedonia, Hari Dzekson is the first and only filmmaker of Western Films in the territory of the former Yugoslavia. In the 1980s, many people in Yugoslavia didn't know where the town of Bjelina was, but they knew who Hari Dzekson was. Hari Dzekson was a rebel against bureaucracy and injustice. He aimed to "repair" the world through his films.
