Experiencing Interruptions?

The Land: our first root

Perhaps we could say that the synopsis is obvious from the film's narration.
We could add that Valle is named after it's founder, Gigi Valle, whose gaze, marked by timie, appears at the end of the film.
Gigi's vision looked beyond, looked to conquer new horizons, and looked to transform the world's perception of wine.
Why dance?
Dance is an expression of a physical relationship through movement. It is the moment when the body and subjectivity merge with the world.
A fusion with nature that the dancer embodies is the same pysical relationship that the Valle family has with their territory.
A sinuous and moving relationship that has its origins in that gaze that looks ahead, continuously experimenting with new perspectives, searching for them.
Starting from tradition.
By letting the land, called ponca, with its mobile fertility, express itself. Dance expresses life, movement follows nature, everything is united, no longer separate.
It is the hymn of freedom.
It is from this relationship between culture and nature that these varietal wines such as Friulano, Ribolla. Picolit and Refosco are born. Whether it's native vines or international varieties that interpret Friuli, it remains a deus ex machina, the landscape, or rather the land.
A land that is like a hearth. A hearth that has its roots deep in the ponca and flies above the hills and stretching out in an endless dance.
