Originally from Salem, Oregon, Joshua uses poetry and prose to tell introspective stories that question normative depictions of male masculinity. A recent graduate from Southern Oregon University, Joshua perused a BFA in Digital Cinema with a concentration in both Location Sound Mixing and Storytelling, utilizing both to amplify other people’s voices. He has been published in SOU’s literary magazine Main Squeeze and made his theatre directing/writing debut in the 2024 Oregon Fringe Festival production of A Submarine Named Shoebox.
