Director Statement

A few years back, I lost my grandmother, and during production of this film I also lost my Uncle. I didn’t quite know how to express my feelings about it and I didn’t really talk to anyone about it. The only time I’ve ever really been able to express myself is through my art. This film is about loss and what it does to you, and explores much more into why you might mourn a person. It’s experimental and it might not even work, but with a relatable topic of death I’m not afraid of challenge. It’s a story that I believe will have an impact on a people and it’s worth telling.
